Longtime Flame and baseball supporter Ted Nett will be inducted into the Farming Baseball Hall of Fame on Sunday, July 24, immediately following the 1:30pm ballgame with Spring Hill.
Alongside brothers Ryan and Aaron, Ted pitched and played multiple positions for the Flames up through the mid 2000's. He has also coached a number of the Farming youth baseball teams through the years. Ted graduated from Albany High School in 1991 and has been a teacher and coach for the Paynesville School District since 2004.
An added bonus on HOF Day will be a special Mass, said by Father Aaron Nett (Ted's brother), prior to the Spring Hill ballgame. The Mass will take place at the Farming ballpark at 10:30am that same morning, and everyone is welcome to attend. Fr. Aaron said Mass at our ballpark one Sunday morning last season too, and it was well-attended.
Please join us on Hall of Fame Day for a celebration of faith, family, and baseball. On behalf of the Farming community, many congratulations to Ted!!
