Mike Kotten's line single to left scored Max Carlson to highlight a six-run eight as the Flames defeated the Twins 11-1 in Paynesville.
Following Mike's heroics, Tylor Schroeder drilled a single to left scoring John Klein with the game ending run. Pinch runners Erik Schmitt, Josh Linn, Josh Christian, and Corey Shay all scored in the big eighth inning.
Craig Klein went 3-4 with four RBI's, while Aaron Nett had two RBI's on 1-3 with a double. Max Carlson had two RBI's and scored a run. Joel Klein was 2-3 for a run scored, while Chris Wehseler also finished 2-4. For the afternoon, the Flames pounded out 13 hits.
Brad Mergen pitched a complete game, giving up just three hits while recording nine strikeouts. Brad walked just two batters.
