The Kimball Express put up a five-spot in the third inning, as they defeated the Flames 8-5 on Friday evening.
Farming took an early 2-0 lead in the first inning. With one out, Max Carlson singled and Taylor Fourre was hit by a pitch. Brad Mergen singled to drive in Max, and Taylor went to third. Aaron Nett hit into a force, scoring Taylor.
The Flames put up three more in the fourth inning. Cody Fourre was hit by a pitch, and Carey Shay came in as a pinch-runner. Craig Klein singled. Chris Wehseler hit into a fielder's choice, and Carey scored when the throw from short got past the first baseman. Then Aaron Eynck hit a towering homerun to left, scoring both he and Chris.
Chad Mergen started on the bump for Farming, followed by Cody Fourre and Tylor Schroeder.
