The Farming Baseball Association welcomes nominations for the Hall of Fame during the upcoming fall season. There is not an established form to complete but nominations should include the following criteria:
a) Nominee must have played for Farming for 5 years or more;
b) Nominee must have been retired from actively playing baseball for Farming for 10 years or more.
*Rules for the Minnesota HOF:
a) Player competed in 10 seasons (if played in at least one game that year that is equal to one season);
b) Player has been retired at least 5 seasons;
c) Committee must approve worthiness of nominee
(*Minnesota HOF voting is based upon the player's record, playing ability, integrity, sportsmanship, character, and contribution to the team)
a) So far, no established criteria
b) Committee must approve worthiness of nominee
Nominations should include a statement about why the Nominee should be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Once someone is nominated their name remains on the ballot for 3-5 years and then is removed from the ballot if not elected within that time frame. That person can be renominated immediately.
